Trilogie Greek Restaurant: Top10 Vienna Insider Restaurant of the Month JulyDuring summer months in Vienna, we might think of countries like Italy, Croatia, Spain or Greece a lot, which also has an impact on our restaurant choices, doesn't it?
We came across Trilogie Greek restaurant about a year ago on an evening walk through from Wiener Rathaus through the 8. district of Vienna and have visited a few times since then. Situated a few blocks behind the Wiener Rathaus in a tiny street, Trilogie restaurant is very conveniently located.
The three owners, all Greek of course, manage the restaurant in a modern Greek style serving contemporary Greek dishes. However, Trilogie also serves typical Greek dishes such as Souvlaki and Mousaka, as well as a good selection of vegetarian options.Whereas Greek restaurants are generally popular among Viennese, we consider Trilogie a one of a kind. The familiar atmosphere and friendliness makes you feel very welcome. Dishes are decorated very nicely and the food is just fantastic. We started our dinner with grilled anchovies with fish spread. We accompanied our appetizer plate with two glasses of
ktima white (Sauvignon Blanc) from Northern Greece - a great recommendation of our waiter.
As main course we were served lamb chops - some of the best ones we ever had. The grilled sea bass filet was a delight as well, served on sesame-spinach and potatoes. We consider Trilogie a great mix of traditional and contemporary Greek cuisine, something for every taste!
Trilogie Greek restaurant also offers great deals for its regulars as well as new guests. You can sign up for their Birthday Club (for free of course!) and instantly get 10% discount for your next dinner. For your birthday dinner Trilogie treats you with
2 glasses of Prosecco and a free appetizer plate for 2!
